My complaint:

I was recently in StopShop in Hyannis, MA and there was a woman I know in the checkout line with no mask. I said something to her but am angry with myself for not reporting her. When I spoke to the manager, I was told StopShop policy is to suggest or remind people to wear masks but not to insist. As the wife of an ER doctor, I am appalled especially given the more contagious strains of Corona virus now. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and every store I go into REQUIRES masks or you don’t go inside. This is irresponsible and dangerous policy, plain and simple. There is no excuse not to require masks. You are endangering all the other responsible customers by not insisting everyone wear a mask. Shame on your corporate ethics. I have filed a complaint with complain.biz

Suggested solution:

REQUIRE MASKS or customers do not go inside the store
