My complaint:
I have been shopping here for years, and now I find myself just waiting for the day Market Basket opens and I will be so done with Stop and Shop. I do have an issue where I have to visit bathroom almost every trip. For the past 1.5 years, my wife has heard me complain about the condition of the bathroom. For the most part, the cleaning guy does ok, but it is the condition of the bathroom and a need for repairs that are not being done is what makes me angry. For months, the lock on the door is broken and does not stay closed. Imagine sitting there holding the door closed as you try to sit? I said try, because for almost a year, the toilet paper dispenser has been broken and cover is just hanging open. Try to hold it closed as you try to sit, and if your lucky, the paper is not on the floor getting wet with god knows what Liguria is on the floor. I almost fell of the seat, once I sat, because seat is also broken and only holding on by one screw. So imagine, holding the door closed, holding paper dispenser closed, as you try to sit on a broken seat! Washing your hands is a blast as well because there are no paper dispensers and if your lucky, paper is dry, but most of the time, again, it is wet with some sort of fluid. I am beyond angry! Lucky for him, he is always in his office or he would feel the pain I feel every time I use it.
I was complaining to one associate in produce about it, and he said just today, he has gotten two face to face complaints about the bathroom, and it is a daily thing for him to hear about it. Associate said he just doesn’t give a f%$3. Another associate said he refuses to use that bathroom. I really do want to lay him out on the floor. One he will never see and he can wake up in the bathroom with his head in the toilet! I have seen better bathrooms in run down gas stations in Providence. That Jack ass should not even be allowed to gather shopping carts, let alone, MANAGE A STORE! Market basket will crush both stores, Smithfield and Johnston. I hate Johnston even more.
If Stop and Shop feels it’s ok to be sloppy and a total mess, than I can’t wait to wash my hands of the chain. Trust me, I won’t be washing in your bathroom.
