My complaint:
I booked with Stayforlong August 31 for a September 15 – 19th stay. The site said it would charge $32.00 at that time and charge the rest September 8th if I did not cancel before then. They charge the entire amount on the booking date. When I got to the hotel at 10:45 p.m., the hotel had no reservation for me. I called Stayforlong customer service, and was told they had to contact their supplier to find out the problem, and they would call me back with 30 minutes. At midnight, I called them back and got the same response,(they’d call me back with 30 minutes) as the escalated the issue. At 1:00 a.m., I called them back and they still had no response from their supplier. I asked for a refund, and paid again for the room. A week later and several emails, they still have not heard from their supplier and will not issue a refund until they do. VISA is now investigating this company.
