My complaint:
I am a single mom and suffer from depression and anxiety, I cannot work presently and so I pay full price for any medications I need. The day before my Colonoscopy the instructions on the package I bought from this shoppers, just did not make sense to me. They had placed their tag on top of the instructions and I could not peel it away without peeling away the instructions. So I called my pharmacy and landed on an agent named Ghous who preceded to tell me the Pharmacist, told him to tell me to come to the store for an explanation. I advised I could not drive on this day. I was given an attitude of too bad so sad. I called back later and landed on Ghous again who gave me his name and when I asked for the Pharmacist name, put me on hold and had the pharmacists come on line. Who then gave me this name as Artha? and then proceeded to tell me he was a very busy man and had no time to speak to me (talking over me continuously) but that I need to come in to get an explanation and then proceeded to hang up on me. This attitude of both these men where extremely similar in disrespect towards me. I was given the impression that I was just a stupid woman by both these men. Someone needs to explain to both these men that they are NOT the only Pharmacy here in Cornwall. Also, here in Canada discrimination towards women will take away more than half their patronage. Us women will take our business elsewhere as well as the rest of our families. It would make no sense to be filling prescriptions at two separate Pharmacies…Which is exactly what I will do, change my pharmacy, as well as take my children’s files with me, of which I have two. To make my point extremely clear, women talk to each other about discrimination towards ourselves very vocally here in Canada, whether it be to our family, neighbors, friends, associates and the beautiful world wide web. Of which I will post this message anywhere and as many times as I want everywhere. To the Pharmacist Artha you just lost 3 files, congratulations. Stupid woman or stupid men?

I will be satisfied when more people see this complaint and start to realize that they are not alone and that they are NOT to blame. That this happens and is happening more and more frequently towards women, here in Canada. I do not need anyone talking down to me. Ever. Who gave them this right? But both men? Like one is training the other to talk down to their female customers?? I am disappointed that I cannot give them ZERO stars! Nothing to resolve, I do NOT TRUST this Pharmacist filling my medicine. I have taken my files from Shoppers and will not return.
