My complaint:
The weekly flyers always have specials for Saturday – Sunday purchases. In the last week I have visited the Fanshawe store to purchase the eggs or NN butter on special to find there was none available. The most frustrating time was on July 24, 2021 when I visited the store at 9:10 am to find there was no NN butter on the shelves. When I asked the store employee whether there was any butter in the back storage, I was informed they hadn’t received a shipment. So, one hour into an advertised sale, they had no product! I find that totally inexcusable.
If they are going continue to have specials on food products, I suggest they improve their supply management. Either do the job right, or get out of groceries and focus on the drug store operation. Either way, Shoppers has lost me as a customer.
Suggested solution:
Better supply management and focus on stocking flyer specials. If out of stock, display a notice when you expect a shipment.
