My complaint:
I subscribed to a 4 week free trial of Shaw Academy.
Soon I realized I did not have the necessary time to attend classes and canceled my membership in due time. I received a ation regarding the successful closure of my account.
Two months later, PayPal notified me that Shaw Academy charged me 50€.
I reached out to the support team having good faith that this had just been an unfortunate mistake.
That is where the drama began.
For more than a months now I have been trying to be refunded.
Shaw Academy claims that I signed up for another free trial during a phone call with one of their staff members. However, I clearly remember telling that lady that I did not have the time for attending classes and I certainly did never agree to a reactivation of my account.
Shaw Academy promised me several times to call me but they did not. After telling me once that I did not close my account in time, they do not answer the ton of mails I sent about that issue.
They refuse to provide me with a customer support number so that I could reach out to them.
They still spam me with advertisements.
It is incredible.
Suggested solution:
Direct refund and apology
