My complaint:
A gentleman called me from Shaw Academy to sign up for a course in June 2021 and I signed up for the course. Text messages for the classes were sent from all these different numbers 679 703 4636,1 814 228 2040, 1 814228 2095, 1 814-228-2027, 679-703-703-4562, 679-703-4636. Emails were also sent because I never attended any of the classes. On July 5th I opt out of the classes.When so went into my account it was saying cancellation would be complete in 2 days which would of been on the 7th of July. On July 8th Shaw Academy debit my debit card for $70.86.I was never informed in writing that that amount of money would be removed from my debit card for a course or classes I never one day attended.These people knew I never attended the classes for four weeks of free trial and then you bill me $70.86. So in other words it wasn’t a free four weeks trial because at the end of the free four weeks trial I was billed $70.86. I never agreed to pay that amount money at the end of the free four weeks trial.
Suggested solution:
I would like a refund of the $70.86 that was removed from my debit card.
