My complaint:

I signed up for a free trial with Shaw Academy on December 17th 2020. The free trial on offer was to study free for 4 weeks. I signed up for a forensic course but was disappointed to find Media Marketing had been added to my account. I contacted Shaw Academy several different times to have this rectified but this proved unsuccessful. Despite this I received constant texts, emails and phone calls reminding me of upcoming classes etc. The amount of communication was rather harassing. Due to this I attempted to cancel my account which is ridiculously difficult to do. After several failed email attempts and telephone calls to cancel I was finally able to cancel on December 28th and received an email ing this. I thought this would be the end of anything to do with this company but instead on December 28th and the 29th they removed £49 from my bank account. I have made several attempts to contact them in regards to this with no success. Since the 28th I have also received 42 different notifications via text, email and phone still reminding me to log in for classes despite my account being cancelled. I feel extremely pressured and harassed by this company.

Suggested solution:

Refund the money they have taken from me and remove me details from their system.
