My complaint:

My loved ones tablet was taken from his property unknowingly to him. He wrote I-60s over and over, as well as spoke about the issue to every rank that walked into his wing, including the warden, major, captain and sergeant. All of which did nothing. This has been almost a year and we (his family) have called and called and called speaking every single day to someone at securusand they are doing nothing, instead saying the family is now obligated to pay for a new tablet,(which stays there at the unit they are released from, when they are released.) An the tablet fee is over $100, saying that it will go to restitution ..if an inmate does not have a tablet, they received BLACK AND WHITE PICTURES ON PAPER! They lady at Securus keeps giving us the run around saying they have not found the tabletect..which I think is a total LIE beings they have been on lockdown a few times since then an there is NO REASON IN THIS WORLD THAT THEY HAVENT Found HIS TABLET! AINT THAT What Lockdown IS ABOUT? TO FIND CONTRABAND AND THINGS THAT ARE MISPLACED OR IN HIDING? Somebody is obviously NOT doing a good enough job at looking for things during lockdown or an officer took the tablet off the unit. Because that tablet did not just grow legs and walk off of the unit. Something needs to be done about him not having a tablet. Oh and then they said he is whitelisted, which means he can’t get another tablet without paying for it.WHAAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS! HE DIDNT ASK ANYONE TO TAKE HIS TABLET! THIS IS REDICULOUS AN THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE SOLVED IMMEDIATELY AS THERE ARE OTHERS ON THE UNIT THAT HE IS ON NOW THAT HAVE TABLET Issues AS WELL. An there is a person he knows of in there that had their tablet stole and they BROUGHT THE GUY ANOTHER ONE! SOMETHING MEEDS TO BE DONE. I AM CONTACTING OMBUDSMAN BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE AN NOONE IS DOING ANYTHING AT SECURUS
