My complaint:

When trying to get electric service at a newly leased home. I had asked Seco what the process is in order to receive electric service. I was then told they needed a notorized copy of lease agreement and all names of all adults that would be staying in house.. I would also need a licensed electrition to inspect the can and 9nce I had the info they requested to send info to them and we would go from there. I contacted a electrition told them what I needed done and what Seco wanted of them which was his licensed number a letter on company letter head . When the electrition contacted Seco they recommended he not do any work because of infractions and it would be a liability of his license. I’m aware of the infractions I’m a new tenant in which I had filled out the app. For electric service. It seems that im being unjustly punished for whatever the previous tenants have done.Is Seco going to tell the next electrition I hire not to do any work ? How long is this going to go on ? Is Seco going to reimburse me on what I have already paid the electrition ? Now I have signed the lease already and I’m going to be stuck paying rent for a year that I can’t even live in because I can’t get electric service .which raises the question should I see Seco for the cost of my newly signed lease.? Any help 8n this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Suggested solution:

I would like to not be prejudiced. Have electric service at my new place of residence.
