My complaint:

Samsung Tv model no. UN55JU6700FXZA, SERIAL NO. 03PP3CBG306606B. Purchased on 6132015with a 3 yr. warranty. On 1182016 had a black marking on screen and screen was replaced. no issues since Oct 1st of this year noticed a bright spot, ran diagnostics and wasn’t resolved. Went on You tube and found a fix where you open the back of the screen and glue these reflectors back into the board, by some means they fall off. Now this is where I become a little perplexed, why are these reflectors connected with crazy glue and fall off. The workmanship seems so primitive. The fix seems fairly simple but the dismantling of the TV could lead to some serious issues. To my concern I contacted Samsung for a repair notice and was informed that it would cost me over 200 dollars plus parts and taxes if no new screen is needed and over 300 if a screen is needed. Wow I’m shocked that Samsung would allow your repair team to charge such an overwhelming price for this fix. My whole opinion of Samsung has been disenchanted. Please note I feel that this fix should be free of charge because this was no fault of my own and that these filters should have been more secure so that they wouldn’t fall off. Please reply . Disappointed Samsung customer. Guy Noto
