My complaint:
I purchased a Chef series Samsung refrigerator in December of 2016. A few years later the ice maker started freezing up from ice build up. Because of covid I couldn’t get a repairman to come out. I purchased an appliance steamer and defrosted the ice maker regularly. The ice maker finally quit completely and I found repairs on line but neeted a repair kit from Samsung.
Samsung customer care said they would send a repairman out asap. The day before he was to show Samsung cancelled the repair. They then told me they would replace the refrigerator. A few days later they told me they were denying the claim all together. I complained to the CEO’s office and was then offered $1100 to destroy my working $6000 refrigerator. I declined and told them all I wanted was a working ice maker. I was told to either take the offer or forget it completely.
