My complaint:

Hello,

I recently booked a flight for my friends and I.

There was some confusion over my friends name.

I wanted to change the name but was told it was £115 to do that. I think this is very expensive for a mistake. The flight is over a month from now.

They said I could change 3 letters free, so I changed it to *** , the closest I could get, ha.

Their chat robot said that a name with only 1 letter wrong would be okay. And I’ve since been told that is incorrect. I have emailed and chatted to numerous people and been told different information. One operator said she think it would be okay and she would get back to me but I never heard anything.

I can understand that they are trying to deter people from changing to a different person completely, but this is obviously the same person, just a genuine mistake.

If I had to pay £115 it really would spoil the holiday.

I hope you can help,

Ian

Suggested solution:

To have the letter changed so it would be correct and not pay £115.
It says Watker on the ticket. It just needs to be Walker.
