RyanAir complaint: Ryanair rooms cancellation waiting for refund.

My complaint:

I booked a room through Ryanair Rooms in Perpignan France at L’éolienne. I know the hotel well.
Because of the Corona crisis I decided to change my booking. Ryanair rooms on their site advice to cancel first which I did. Cancellation came through saying you have not been charged. However £ 221.58 have left my account when I booked and more than a week after no refund Ryanair said they generally process refund within 24 hours. Called the hotel also few days ago they said the money is with Expedia and they would never charge me even if it is a non refundable as I am a very good customer. Reservation Number is 9195176595568 check in date 29-03-2020 to 04-04-2020. I also found an e-mail in my junk saying that the cancellation was made by the hotel once again saying I have not been charged. I have been unable to contact Ryanair roomHotel. Com because every time I try I cannot get through even waiting for one hour. It is like my money is kept by Expedia a third party I did not even know was involved while I know the hotel don’t have this money and my room is cancelled anyway???!!!

Suggested solution:

I now just want them to process my refund, very disappointed with Ryanair don't understand why my money is with Expedia now, also if I go on my account with hotel.com no trace of my reservation so Ryanair is the first party involving hotel.com that involved Expedia... a lesson learned will book directly with my hotel next time.
