My complaint:
On Saturday 1008 we landed in Newark, NJ. I looked for hotel accommodations and
Since It was my first time in NJ I picked the only available hotel in booking com. I made a reservations When we got there the city was awful dirty, weird individuals hanging around the corner. i swear it was located iin the middle of the getto. The taxi driver dropped us off and left. I went into the lobby and the only guy at the reception was so rude. Besides that he informed me the only room available was for $600 night. I had to pay it because I didn’t have any other choice. It was a nightmare.
The place is completely run down. Bars placed on the windows. The room Smelled like an old ashtray. The carpeted stained, a box of empty condoms on the floor. The sheets looked dirty I was like in panic mode thinking about laying down in that bed. The bathroom (I have pics)
The bathtub had mold, the toilet hard to pull the handle and the sink was broken in the middle.
Of course the guy who checked us in didn’t want to hear any complaints.
If you have no other choice like in our situation just sleep in the airport is the best and safest option.
Suggested solution:
Returned the outrageous amount I was charged
