My complaint:
Anderson window was gotten to install all new windows for our home. We were told it would be a 2 day job. Once the windows finally came in, they had miss -measured one of the windows, which left us with plywood over our kitchen sink for over 2 weeks. Secondly, The initial crew that installed the windows were very sloppy and left the house a mess. The windows were improperly installed… Over the next year and a half several of the windows had to be taken out and replaced back in because they were not level. The locks were broken and they didn’t open and close properly. Several different crews were sent out on different occasions totaling about 10 different visits. At one point we even had ants coming in through the new installed windows. We have asked for compensation and are not happy with the $1,700 off they have offered. We feel that we are at least owed $10 to 15,000 off for the inconvenience.
Suggested solution:
Offer $10000 off the cost. We have offered to pay for just the cost of the windows and not the install, But they are not able to supply us with an itemized list of the cost of the windows.
