My complaint:
Been going on for months. My mom’s checking account got hacked somehow with over $4000 in cashapp and Uber eat charges. We visited the branch of Regions Bank located at The Berclair Branch located at 4383 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. We kept getting told the bank doesn’t reimburse cashapp charges or fees associated with them for being overdrawn. We had to cancel her card again and this time called 800/417-2859. They were so polite, understanding, and helpful. They got the charges credited back. So disappointed in the amount of misinformation, apathy, and unwillingness to help from the Berclair Branch. The additional stress caused from them should be addressed to ensure others aren’t misinformed and lied to.
Suggested solution:
Have the Regional Managers train their employees on how to handle fraudulent charges.
