My complaint:

I made a reservation for two nights through PRICELINE. MY debit card was immediately charged for $139.00 for 2 nights. First of all I was completely misled I thought the property was at a different location as I’m from Yakima and I didn’t realize THE RED LION HAD TAKEN OVER ONE OF THE SEEDIEST HOTELS IN TOWN. BUT as I booked through PRICELINE… No refunds or cancellations were available to me because I immediately would have canceled my reservation as the conditions even in the lobby were absolutely disgusting. In addition, I was booked 13 nights I never got clean towels I never got my toilet paper replaced and I never had to tissue we asked for clean towels and they said they would bring them to the room. They did not. The hallway smelled of marijuana smoke greese and sewer. My fiance was absolutely disgusted but again told no refunds or cancellations. THEN THE ROACHES CAME OUT. MY SON COUNTED 14 -25 IN A TIME PERIOD OF LESS THAN AN HOUR. They’re on the walls the drains the bathtub the holes in the walls yes there were holes in the walls..I was sharks in a paws that I was having to deal with this at a Red line property because according to the property it is now a red line property when I initially mentioned before it used to be the biggest ghetto hotel in town so I thought when Red Lion took over they were going to clean it up do some remodeling do some different stuff make it look like a red lion property and clearly they did not. My fiance… Very calmly packed up all of our stuff got it out of that hotel immediately and then went to the front desk to speak to the night manager because yes this was at night obviously that’s when roaches come out… Good night manager said there was nothing that he could do but he clearly indicated to my fiance that he knew about the issue and didn’t advise guess when they checked in didn’t let anybody know that there was a nasty ass roaches in this hotel and indicated to him that it was one of the better rooms I’d like to see the worst room honestly no I wouldn’t because I’m scared now. And indicated that we would have to return to the hotel tomorrow the next day at 11:00 when check out was to be able to speak the manager because he had no control over refunds or roaches. I did forget to mention one thing when we arrived the room there was a strange funky smell well we didn’t use the microwave that day we used it the next day and come to find out that there was some old moldy food from the previous guest left in the microwave which is a serious health condition and I have health issues and so does my fiance as well.

Suggested solution:

They need to teamotel honestly but the way that they can resolve my complaint is to refund my $139 because I wouldn't pay $0.10 to stay in that room...
