My complaint:

ON 29 DECEMBER 2021 MY SON, CRAIG SMITH, AND I, CHECKED INTO THE HOTEL. CRAIG GAVE HIS DRIVER’S LICENCE TO THE CHECK IN CLERK AS IDENTIFICATION. LATER THAT DAY CRAIG REALISED THAT HIS DRIVER’S LICENCE WAS NOT HANDED BACK TO HIM AND ENQUIRED AT THE CHECK IN COUNTER FOR SAME. THE TAPE RECORDING CONFIRMED THAT HIS DRIVER’S LICENCE CARD WAS NOT HANDED BACK TO HIM. ON 30 DECEMBER 2021 BEFORE CHECKING OUT OF THE HOTEL, I ALSO ENQUIRED ABOUT HE DRIVER’S LICENCE CARD, BUT IT COULD NOT BE LOCATED. AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND E-MAILS TO THE HOTEL STAFF. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY RESPONSE FROM ANY STAFF MEMBER, DESPITE SEVERAL UNDERTAKINGS THAT A STAFF MEMBER WOULD CONTACT ME. I FEEL THAT NO ONE HAS EVEN BOTHERED TO LOCATE THE DRIVER’S LICENCE CARD, AS I AM JUST BEING IGNORED. I AM SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE IMPLICATIONS OF A LOST DRVER’S LICENCE CARD

Suggested solution:

I FEEL THAT MORE EFFORT SHOULD BE PUT INTO THE LOCATIONOF THE CARD.

WHEN LOCATED THE CARD SHOULD BE CORIERE BACK TO ME
