My complaint:
8821 I lit a Pure Sage Buddle stick in the room around 10:40 pm turned on the AC, room door slightly open because we have 3 rooms and 3 teens coming back and forth and at 10:45 pm Desk person knockopen door and stated you have 30 minutes to vacate the property because cigarette smoke or THC. We were all startled because we were watching TV, eating, talking and having fun. I immediately walked to the front desk that was around the corner from my room to speak with the desk person regarding us vacating the property for something that we did not do. I attempted to plead my case but he did not want to listen, I asked for the report. I really did not understand because it looked like someone was dead and the a spike and then nothing. The desk person did not want to hear anything from me, so he started talking to my brother and his sons and they asked if we pay the $250 can they stay because we check out the next day to take my nephew to football camp. I told the desk clerk not to charge their card and he could come to the room look around and see that we were not smoking and it was only a sage burning. Sage purifies the air it does cause a lot of smoke until it get settled. I did not read any policy that stated I could not burn incense. Can the report be wrong, we lit the sage right by the ac which is right by the sensor in the room. Could the smoke from an organic sage stick cause the senor to mis-read? I’m asking for the benefit of a doubt, it could be wrong. We came to rest and get my nephew to football camp purchase things for his room and he had to pay $125.08 because he thought the desk person next move was to call the police because he told me if I said another word he would make us all leave. My nephew’s paid out of fear.
