Qatar Airways complaint: Lost baggage

My complaint:

I travelled on 181221 to Maldives x 4 people, business class. After missing connection and sleeping in airport overnight they lost the bags! The flight was delayed taking off from Manchester but assured us we would make a connecting flight as was three other flights, no such luck! The lost bags came to our hotel after two days, the baggage department told us to buy four items of swimwear, total of $1250 and we would be reimbursed. My travel agent has tried for nearly 6 month then Qatar said they’d only deal with me! I have sent emails every week since July and they will not pay out, they tell lies and are absolute idiots! I have all the emails since 5 January 2022. Many thanks.

Suggested solution:

They need to pay for what they told me to buy, $1250 worth of swimsuits which they can have as only worn once!

I would rate Qatar no stars!
