My complaint:
My daughter sent me a $25 Popeye’s gift card for my birthday. Store 13582, Phone 352-441-9112, in Williston, Florida 32696, first said they do not accept Popeye’s gift cards. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that there is a problem with their card reader (or POS) and that it will not process Gift Cards, and that “the technician” has been out to fix it several times, and that they have called again, and he is supposed to be out tomorrow to fix it. This has been going on since February 4, 2023. Today Mary (the manager) told me the exact same scenario and said she knows of three other stores in the area that are not able to process the Popeye’s Gift cards. This was a very considerate gift from my daughter since she knows I love Popeye’s Chicken and am on a fixed income. My question is, “If there is such a problem with processing these Gift Cards, Why do you continue to sell them?” Basically, I’m left with no birthday present, no chicken and a worthless Popeye’s Gift card.

Accept my Gift Card or Purchase it from for Face Value of $25.00
