Parkdean Resorts complaint: Unsatisafctory conditions in accommodation

My complaint:

Myself and my elderly mother paid £719.00 for 3 nights in the Morlich caravan with sea view at the above resort on 27th August 2021.
Whilst the location met our expectations, the caravan did not.
It has a distinct smell of damp in the double bedroom wardrobe which discouraged us from unpacking, the oven didn’t work, only the double bed was made up even though we had advised details on who was coming (requested) and no additional bed linen was available. The cleanliness of the caravan was concerning, particularly in COVID times! Light switches, handles, microwave front and handle clearly showed grubby fingerprints. Areas which should take priority in this climate. The kick plate under cooker feel away and it was evident this area had not been cleaned for a considerable time. (see photo)Table on deck was also dirty and had human hair on it. My mum is 83 and as recognised as ‘vulnerable’ was understandably very concerned about this.
£700 for 3 nights for two people was not worth the money I’m afraid. Very, very disappointing.

Suggested solution:

I would like assurance that hygiene standards at the site will be addressed and i would be happy to receive a financial refund which matches the disappointment and inconvenience we have experienced.

2 years ago - Almost a month has passed and I have received absolutely no communication from Parkdean Resorts. Dreadful.
