My complaint:
I am writing to complain about the Crantock Holiday Park that I stayed in for 14 days, ending yesterday (081021).
After we had left the caravan park, I had remembered that I had left three flasks in the bottom cupboard, bottom shelf, on the right hand side of the oven. I called to let them know as soon as I got home, with the hope that they would be able to send them to my home address (with me offering to pay, of course). They said they would call back after they had spoken to the house keeepingcleaning staff, which they did, however, the cleaning staff said that there were no flasks in the cupboard. I asked them to check again, even asking if they could check themselves then and there, which they said they couldn’t do. They then called back again, not long after, and told me that the cleaning staff said there was nothing in the cupboard. I know for a fact that I had left those three flasks in that cupboard, and even asked the woman I was speaking to if the cleaners checked the cupboards when they cleaned, which she said they did.
Either the cleaners are lying and they stole the flasks that I left there, or they are not doing there jobs properly and checking the cupboards as they should be. Eitherway, I am extremely upset about this, the flasks all together would have cost £70, which I have no lost out on due to the staffs incompetence. To make matters worse, the staff had brushed it off quite casually, and didn’t offer any solutions whatsoever, hence why I am writing to you.
I would like some kind of compensation, or at the very least an enquiry into the cleaners who cleaned the caravan I had stayed in.
We were returning customers at the Crantock Holiday Park, not just for Covid, and this will definitely make me rethink staying here again, which I am very disappointed about. I will be writing bad reviews about the park, and its ‘services’ it provides. I will also be filing a police report, as my items have, without a doubt, been stolen.
