My complaint:

My Family and I have returned from a holiday at Lower Hyde my holiday reference number was 8803807. On the second day of our stay which was Tuesday 6th of July 2021 I ignited the oven and I put the ingredients for our evening meal into the oven and closed the oven door and turned the gas up on the cooker and I left it, after approximately 1 hour 45 minutes I returned to the oven to see if the food was ready to be served to my amazement the food was still extremely cold and uncooked. By this time reception was closed so there was no way of rectifying the the problem at this time so my family and I had to eat at the on site restaurant which cost in excess of £40. The following morning I reported the problem to reception and they sent a member of the maintenance crew around to caravan immediately but unfortunately he was unable to rectify the problem, so a registered GAS fitter who was on site was called upon to sort the problem out which he did after taking the burners out and giving them a good clean.

Suggested solution:

As I have a holiday booked for 2022 with Parkdean Resorts if some sort of cash refund is not a option perhaps they could compensate me with a voucher which I could spend either in their restaurant or in the bar.
