My complaint:
Parcel compare used a third party to collect my parcel, ups and the parcel is lost..the parcel is an engine block weight of approx 50 kg, which baffles me as to how a parcel so large can go missing. I filed a missing parcel form and was told that because I hadn’t ticked box for additional cover the claim was £50. The engine cost £350 bur as its from an obsolete classic car it’s value is much higher.i believe the additional insurance is a rip off as any business must have insurance to cover its business. I’m now left out of pocket and no engine. I’ve asked for details to submit a claim against them but they refuse to respond…
Suggested solution:
Either find the parcel or refund the cost outright plus refund their fees for a service that wasn't supplied
