Papa Murphys complaint: Fed Up With The Incompetent Staff

My complaint:

I am filing this complaint against the Store located at 920 Caldwell Blvd in Nampa, Idaho, 83651. While I have absolutely no complaints about the Pizza, it’s the store’s staff that have been problematic not once, but two separate times, and it involves the same people both times. The first time was back in December. I ordered the Pizza online and came to pay for it. The young Man (who is still currently working there, and was there for the second incident) was not able to work the register for some reason. I went to pay and he was not able to pull the correct total up. Five separate times they came up with the incorrect order, and every single time he looked at me like he had no responsibility in messing up the total. It took three different workers, and a long forming line behind me to get it right.

The second incident happened on 4/13/2024. Once again, I ordered the Pizzas online, and I went to pay for them. There were four employees behind the Counter. Two were making Pizzas, the same young Man was there, as well as a young Girl at the register counting the change. She told me she would be right with me as she slowly drops each coin into the slots one at a time. The young Man showed up, I told him my name so I could pay, he just looks at me with that same blank expressionless stare and walks away into the back without saying anything.

After about five minutes, I began to get upset as I’m just standing there with cash and no assistance, and once again, a line of numerous people is forming behind me, the two female workers are just standing there making Pizza and the young girl is still slowly counting the Register’s change, when I finally ask if someone will help me, the two employees making the Pizzas just looked up at me and said and did absolutely nothing, the young man in the back didn’t respond, the girl counting the change did in a barely audible tone, saying she’ll help in a minute, and continued to take her sweet time slowly putting coins into the slots.

Nobody stepped up, despite knowing multiple people needed assistance, nobody showed an ounce of emotion or volunteered to help. They all just continued to do whatever it was they were doing like Zombies or machines. I stood there for ten minutes with no one assisting before the girl was done counting the Money and finally got my order. The most frustrating aspect here is that this isn’t a one-time occurrence. I’m very disappointed and frustrated with these employees, they are not capable of doing their jobs, they are not professionals, and they are very rude and cold to everyone who is trying to give them their hard-earned Money and support the establishment. I will not be returning to this store as the service is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Suggested solution:

Either teach the staff to be more professional or find people who will be ready and willing to do their jobs, rather than ignore customers
