My complaint:
My husband and I ate dinner at Panera Bread this evening. We ordered 2 chicken brocolli bowls. The chicken looked different to me from what I usually eat, so I went to the front and asked what type of chicken do they use. They replied dark meat. No where on the board does it state this. I told them if I was aware of this, I would not have ordered it . One of the staff members offered me a cookie as compensation.
I looked it up on the website. It stated they use dark meat chicken thighs. For the cost of the meal, I did not expect dark meat chicken thighs.
I feel customers should know what they are ordering and not having to look at a website.
Suggested solution:
Please let customers know when they are at the store that dark chicken meat is used.
