My complaint:
I was in your Ollie’s bargain outlet on 4112023 at 12:41pm and it was my first time at this location I have never been so horrified and embarrassed in my life. I was with my family and as I was checking out the lady at the register was very kind to be able to give me a 25% discount on a family game Cornhole Throw. It was the only 1 available the box was basically just falling off. I was trying to check to see if the pets were in but it was pretty difficult (my wrist is weak) so she said I can take the discount if anything is missing just come back (there was a long line behind me) she was unable to put the amount in so she called manager Debbie.
As soon as she comes up to the front she looks at us as if we were the ones who called her…she immediately said I’m only doing 10% off. Not even asking about the issue no empathy on the situation and a piece of a burger still on the side of her mouth as if we inconveniently interrupted her down time. Even the lady behind us said she was in a terrible mood. I ended up leaving the item and told her she was just rude. She walked away and rolled her eyes out my family. Her name was Jeannette.
Suggested solution:
Have that manager checked out and retrained on customer service since the majority of her job requires that.
