My complaint:

Back in April of 2020, I spent $300 on the Ninja Hot Cold Brew System Model CP307 because I love my coffee and I wanted to invest in a quality product that would last. I have truly enjoyed this model, to the point where i am always raving about it and have suggested to other to consider the investment. This appliance is well cared for and has never been moved from its original location in the time I have had it. Recently the device has started leaking water all over my counter and on to my floor. I am fortunate not to have slipped and fallen on my tile floor and injured myself. Please note that I refill it on a daily basis with only the amount I will be using that day. Usually the amount is under for one or two cups or half a pot maximum. I always ensure the water container is on properly and that it is not overfilled. I called your customer service number a few weeks ago and they informed the device is only warranted for one year. They also informed me the devise requires a new base that I would be required to pay for. I am extremely disappointed that a known defect is not covered and requires replacement. Funny thing is i do recall in hindsight seeing a few complaints about this product prior to my purchase but I just figured it was an unusual case and purchased the product anyway. I never would have invested this money into a coffee maker that would only last 3 years! I did register my product and I also noticed that Ninja started the warranty on the product at the point of shipment, two weeks prior to it arriving at my house! Who does that? This is my last attempt to reach out to you before I file a complaint with the better business bureau and banish using any Ninja Products in the future. I hope that you will do the right thing and provide the customer service and attention that is warranted under these circumstances. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

Suggested solution:

The replacement part, based, should be provided along with replacement instructions at no charge if they stand behind their product. This is expected with a known problem of leakage. If the base is not available then a replacement system of equal value should be provided.
