My complaint:
Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Sent us to a lower rate set of rooms in an Annex half a mile away that was poorly furnished with hole filled bedding and where one room smelled so strongly of sewage we felt unsafe. Complained repetitively but they wouldn’t/couldn’t fix it (sending someone to pour water down the drain isn’t effective). When we asked to move they said they were full and would charge us for cots to sleep in our 2nd room with kids. Would not refund us for sewage room even though we said we didn’t feel safe sleeping there – offered to give back only a fraction of what we paid per room per night (highlighting the room we were in was clearly lower than what we’d paid for)
Suggested solution:
Refund cost of room we could rise because of unhealthy sewage smell.
