My complaint:
My NETFLIX subscription moved to my SKY package in August 2019, and so my SKY bill includes Netflix. Today I discovered that NETFLIX have been taking £15.99 from me every month (on or around the 4th) ever since, to the tune of £607.62. The account moved to Sky and NETFLIX should therefore have stopped taking payments as they were subsequently managed by Sky. It’s not a Direct Debit, they were literally taking it off my card each month.
I spoke to NETFLIX customer services who said they can see I haven’t used that NETFLIX account for a long time (since august 2019, I assume) they can refund me 6 months but no more. I would obviously like to claim back the full £600 for the 3 years they’ve been taking my money. They told me their system cannot do that (which I don’t believe for a second).
Suggested solution:
By refunding the 3 years of payments they were not entitled to.
