My complaint:
I booked a flight for 2 people from East Midlands Airport to Faro departing with Ryan Air and returning with Jet2. I asked for 1 person to have 10kgs of cabin luggage on each flight. After I checked into Ryan Air I noticed that it was hand luggage only for both people. I rang My Trip on 15th January 2023 and was told it was on their paperwork and will appear on my boarding pass later. I asked them how and he said this had happened before and before I fly it will be there.
On 16th January 2023 I rand Ryan Air and asked the question why it was not on my booking and was told there was no cabin baggage added. Again I called My Trip and another call representative told me I needed to speak to the airline. I asked them why as I had paid them £39 for the 2 trips to have the 10kgs cabin bags. I got no answer but repeatedly told to call the airline. I have had to pay another £20 to Ryan Air to add my cabin luggage.
Suggested solution:
Repay £18 which is half the paid fee
