My complaint:
On 022223 I walked into front office and booked a room for one night for $72.13. I ran my debit card and i saw with my own eyes it said approved. Got checked in no issus. The first room they booked me in had a very strong dog odor. I called front desk and asked if I could switch rooms. They said yes and I went right back to front desk and got keys to new room. Then a few hours later I looked at my banking account and it shows 3 or 4 pending charges for motel 6 of 72.13! I contacted the front and they said the other person working had to charge my account again bc it declined…however I saw it said approved when i originally paid. So they said we want to offer you a discount for the mistake by the original front desk person that would make the one night cost $57.68. And so I listened and they said I needed to swipe my card again. Well instead of getting discounted I have a total of $129.81 taken from my account. On the report I’m going to attach it says they refunded me the $72.13 but my bank account isn’t showing this at all!
