My complaint:

I am 78 years old. I do not remember where or when i opened my account because I have lived in many states.
I am not a stupid person. I hold three master’s degrees and a doctorate.
Microsoft people have treated me as though I am an idiot.

I forgot my password and went through all the questions they ask to reset it. I have a new computer and can’t even get into it because I don’t have my password. The questions they ask to identify me are where the stupidity lies. I don’t know how i can be expected to answer questions like

what credit card did i use to open the account. twenty years ago? seriously?
what state did i live in and what is the zip code? sure i can look up the zip code but i lived in three states that year and have no idea which city I lived in. Do you know what year you opened your account?

They can identify me as the owner of the account through sensible ways. When i finally talked to an agent who barely speaks English, she said that they cannot give me my password because it is against their policy.

Aren’t the questions absurd for a person of my age? Could they ask questions like who are the businesses you deal with on line and what is their account number? What bills do you pay through auto pay? What do you use your computer for? What are three of your saved files on Word? How many excel documents can you name that you have on our program?

This is infuriating. I cannot get into my computer and no one has helped me.

I am consulting a lawyer relative to filing a lawsuit against microsoft because they have made it impossible for me to continue the professional writing I am doing, made me unable to deal with the financial matters I take care of online and the extreme stress this has caused created physical symptoms that have affected my health.
Never have I been treated as badly as the microsoft agent treated me.

Suggested solution:

I WANT MY PASSWORD

To answer the following question,
is there anything lower than zero?
