I have been monitoring mercari. They appear to be filtering counterfeit items under the disguise of request authenticate. The seller will not and cannot authenticate. I saw over 60000 in counterfeit sales alone last evening. Counterfeiters are highly illegal and it is a class a felony to take the amounts of money in the US. I am forwarding all information to the federal bureau of investigations and hopes that the mercari app will shut down in the US. Mercaris participation in this is evident and the sellers of these are a highly educated group of counterfeiters committing internet fraud through this app mercari
Suggested solution:
Return rhe funds to the multi thousands of victims that have purchased the counterfeits and request every single gucci and louis vuitton be aurhenticated.
