My complaint:
I prematurely rated the buyer keeping in mind Mercari high standards and Buyers protection. After carefully inspecting the item I noticed it has no tags, no labels, not NEW as described moreover INAUTHENTICFAKE item.
According to Mercari’s BUYERS PROTECTION Guidelines:
Items that are known or suspected to be replicas, imitations, or in any way not authentic should not be listed on Mercari. Any item that appears to be inauthentic will be reviewed and potentially removed from the platform.
This item was overlooked and not properly inspected when listed.
I notified MERCARI immediately after the rating was submitted (prior to the buyer accepting) and explained the situation and error.
Suggested solution:
As a courtesy I'm asking Mercari to step in and offer some type of retribution. I provided pics of the item listed on Mercari and what I received.
