My complaint:
On the Mercari app, they saw something unusual activity on my account but they will not explain to me what happened. They said it was confidential which I think it’s illegal on what they are doing because I believe I did not do anything wrong. During the process of them investigating unusual act, they wanted me to sent them proof of purchase form me selling me stuff. I followed the instructions and sent them. They never gave me a response because I told them it’s illegal for them to make me do it when I they won’t tell me the issue. They said they would review my case and it will take awhile, however it only took them an hour for them to decide to close my account and ban me from the app. I believe it is not fair because they did not give me an explanation of their five warning policy.
Suggested solution:
They need to give me a warning or explanation because I make a living on selling stuff on Mercari
