My complaint:
Buyer claimed item was damaged in shipping tried to “settle up with me before escalating the issue.” I told them to contact Mercari and Mercari settled the case without contacting me. Now the buyer has my items and Mercari won’t pay me under the “shipping protection” despite not contacting me to even ask how the item was packaged and shipped.
Suggested solution:
Force the buyer to return the items or pay me for the sale.
