My complaint:
This morning I went to McDonalds to get coffee and breakfast on my way to work. There were 2 cars ahead of me in each lane behind the line at the windows. It was 10:30 am and I didn’t have to be to work until 11:00 am.
Cars came behind me and I was trapped in the line for over 30 minutes.
At about 20 minutes I got to the speaker and when asked for my order I politely asked if they could pull up 2 cars so I could get out of line. I was told no that they were short handed and couldn’t. I pleaded and was told “you’ll just have to wait”. I was late to work amd didn’t even get my breakfast. Very disappointing.
I know what working fast food is as I used to be a store manager for McDonalds. I have sympathy for being short handed, however it wouldn’t have hurt anyone to park 2 cars and take their food out.
Suggested solution:
I really would like them to focus on training employees about customer service and I would like to know how they feel it appropriate to resolve this.
