My complaint:

On the 19th august after a busy shift at work I decided to use McDonald’s holderness road drive through at approx 01:00. After sitting at the drive through for a short time 2 cars in the lane next to me was served before me which entered after I had already been sat there. After this I was then served, I asked for my order which included a large fries and a medium fries. As I drove round to the window to pay only a medium fries was on the order, I explained that I had ordered a large too and the cashier apologised and handed me the card machine. When I went to the window to collect my food I checked it as I always do at McDonald’s due to previous issues with orders and there was only 1 medium fries. I explained to the girl that I had also ordered a large and she apologised went away and put a large fries into the bag. I told her I had ordered both but she insisted I hadn’t and told me I couldn’t have both as I hadn’t paid for both. I told her I would pay again as I wanted 2 fries as I had previously asked and she told me I couldn’t and told me to enjoy my evening in a smug patronising manner. I then got home and looked at my order and it is quite obvious to me that the medium fries was poured into the large box as the portion was laughable. I use this McDonald’s frequently and am appalled at the service I received. Absolutely disgusting. They got my order wrong so why should I go without.. OR drive around again queue to be ignored again and waste my time after I’ve been at work all day. I will never use this restaurant again and am so angry with how the staff there treat me as a paying customer.

Suggested solution:

Teach their staff better customer service.
