My complaint:

Unable to purchase on line goods and services using credit card as cannot satisfy additional security check without mobile phone access.
A problem which will only be exacerbated as more businesses and government departments adopt this excellent concept.

This scenario affects some 30% of the world’s population based on 2019 data. A huge number of individuals being discriminated against by this poorly implemented facility.

Great concept ruined by poor research and execution!

Suggested solution:

Every credit card user obviously has access to a bank and virtually all banks employ a secure token system for on-line banking protection.

Simple solution, disseminate the security code through the bank token system as well as the mobile phone system and the problem is resolved.

FYI. In terms of security, the bank token system is second, only to certain military systems, and is far superior to the mobile phone system which is easily compromised,
