My complaint:
I am a Lowe’s employee and I was throwing up during my shift. I had asked if I could go home but was told I had to stay for a couple hours. I was told that it is against company policy to force an employee to stay if they are sick and throwing up. I was told I could leave by the general manager and the shift manager and a head cashier was trying to go against what the general manager had said by trying to get me to stay even though I was told I could go home. They made me feel disrespected and they were very unprofessional.
Suggested solution:
By following the company policy.
