My complaint:
On 7042022 I called the service desk to inquire information on how to obtain a copy of a receipt from a previous purchase. After advising the young lady that answered the phone of the situation, she stated that she ran a query using my name and did not locate any information. When I asked if she could use the phone number, she advised that she could not use the phone number and that I would need to contact the 1800 number. I knew this information was incorrect as I had just spoken to another young lady at another location who was able to retrieve a receipt merely by using the name. I had to ask the young lady her name, which I later found out was Hailey. At this time, I decided to go into the store in hopes of obtaining a copy of the receipt from the 3,000 plus purchase that I had made.
Long story short, once I arrived at the store, I encountered Hailey who once again was less than helpful and rude to the degree that I asked to speak to a supervisor. In the end, Tabitha, another employee, not a supervisor was able to locate a copy of the receipt and print it out by simply asking for some additional information. My experience with Hailey from the first phone call was that I was irritating her, and she didn’t have time to do her job and I inconveniencing her by asking her to do so.
In these troubled times, I’m not expecting a simple trip to LOWES to become a source of stress. Hailey as a representative for LOWES is a true testament that good help is hard to find and that the choices are few and slim.
Suggested solution:
I think Hailey needs to be TERMINATED as she is not who the customers should have to encounter when visiting your store, she clearly doesn't like her job. Perhaps she could be of better service in a position where she doesn't have to deal with the public. Maybe cleaning the restrooms would be a better fit for her.
