My complaint:

On 3rd February 2021, I was waiting, with my wife, in the checkout queue of the Greenford store, in the London Borough of Ealing. I noticed that the staff member manning the checkout was wearing his face mask covering only his chin. I asked him politely if he could cover his face. He did this, but a couple of minutes later I noticed that his mask had slipped down and was covering only his chin, as before. The man breaching the requirements was about 35 years of age and has an East European accent; short, but heavily built and over-weight. The screen protection in the store separating checkout staff from customers is very basic, with proximity of around 1 metre.

Suggested solution:

Staff retraining, implementing effective Covid-19 management, inserting a more appropriate barrier between checkout staff and customers, issuing a public apology to all their customers for the poor quality of the company's response to the Covid-19 crisis.
