My complaint:

As I arrived to shop today around 11am as I approached the door as a shop lifter was running out and a shop worker in at shirt flew thorough the air in a rugby tackle manner and knocked him down into the car park and they landed on the crate of beer causing it to smash which was incredibly dangerous if they glass had punctured them. Followed by a security guard and more staff. The glass smashed everywhere. There then followed what I would havecalled a scrap. There was bad language on both parts but the first staff member who had rugby tackled alarmed me, in front of customers including children he called him a fung ct and then grabbed the shoplifter around the neck aggressively. A neighbour came out and shouted ‘eh, you can’t touch him’ the worker shouted “I can do what I fung want, I’ve been security for 25 years”
Maybe times have changed and he needs further training, I saw later on the other tall worker, possibly a manager, got spat at during the confrontation, I realise it’s difficult for staff to be constantly abused but I thought it all a touch heavy handed, agressive and highly inappropriate around children and families on a Sunday morning. I heard the manager type person tell till staff to apologise to customers for the bad language but there was no apology. A dreadful experience for all people involved

Suggested solution:

Analysis of cctv and further training. The staff in there are always great and I appreciate them and I don’t want anyone to lose their job, I know they put up with a lot from people breaking the law and it’s awful for them but you can’t grab people around the neck and call them Cus.
