My complaint:
I am a regular Lidl user in Melksham and have always found the staff helpful and friendly with a popular manager. However on Tuesday 29 October I encountered, what I later found out to be Mark ? the area manager. He looked like one of the beggars from outside the shop in worn out jeans and a tatty crew neck jumper. He was, what I can only describe as lecturing very loudly four managers, immaculately dressed with name badges in the middle of an aisle totally oblivious of customers attempting to shop. He then moved onto the till next to mine and explained to the four managers, equally loudly, how filthy the area was and how he would not expect any of their stores to look like that. Having been in HR for twenty or more years may I suggest he be sent on a management course where he can be taught how to deal with subordinates effectively and how not to embarrass himself in front of customers
Suggested solution:
By helping your Melksham area manager to be effective
