My complaint:
I recently did away with my Att phone and changed to Verizon. I did not think to change my KC account number before doing so. I requested to unbind my phone number and I had a message pop up saying Withdrawals will not be available for 24 hours, as a security measure. No problem there. What it DID NOT SAY is that 1-3 days until I can access my account. This was 6 hours ago. I am involved in a current short trade in XRP. Entered at 0.52400, account locked at .51250, over .01000 points to the green. And here I sit down .0600 in the red. I have offered everything they have requested of me. Denied after sending my Driver’s License and a Photo of my face on their program located in their app. I have gone back and forth for 5 hours with chat now. They are asking my for proof of transactions from accounts that were not owned by me. I only purchase BTC on Cashapp and maybe 1 or 2 times max I send from elsewhere but no less that 100 times from Cash App. I have gone back and forth for HOURS with them. 4 videos, 3 screen shots of front and back of my ID, secret codes on a note, etc. and I am still no closer to being in my account. This is beyond crazy. They want a video of TXID from deposits but can be no larger than 10 MB, much like this site here. Well that is about a 6 second iphone video on my 14 pro max. You can’t win! I’ll update when resolved. I’m out the trade money regardless!
Suggested solution:
Unlock my account and honor some of my losses. I am not looking to gain the win, but I should not be on the hook for the losses either. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOODNESS, PLEASE LET CUSTOMERS KNOW THAT THEIR ACCOUNTS WILL BE LOCKED UNTIL NEW PHONE NUMBER IS VERIFIED! It is HIGHLY misleading to say withdrawals are paused only. NOT TRUE. YOUR ACCOUNT IS LOCKED for 1-3 days according to them. Just wow!
