Kiwi.com complaint: Insurance policy prevented me from boarding

My complaint:

I called Kiwi to get my AXA insurance policy purchased through Kiwi. I was told to call Axa. AXA wouldn’t help without a policy number. Normally proof of purchase is all that is required, but my destination required proof of $35,000 of coverage. With no policy in hand, I was not allowed to board. Called AXA on that day. Two hours on hold with no answer. I finally got my documentation through my personal insurance. I had to pay for a last minute flight out of pocket. I received my policy from AXA April 20. My flight was April 17.

Suggested solution:

Give me the cost of the last minute ticket, or refund the whole trip booking cost.
