Kaspas Desserts complaint: Last treat before back to school

My complaint:

Me, my partner and two daughters went to kaspas desserts yesterday 1st September 21′. We went there 6 weeks previous, it was busier then and had a great experience, so we expected the same on our return visit. We were allocated the same table as before and still the table number was missing from the table…as i overheard when ordering our food i found that ours wasn’t the only table with a missing number. The confusion ensued immediately when wrong shake delivered to our table. The shake was then given to the other table with no number after i pointed this out. My daughter went to the toilet and slipped on the floor in there after soap had been spilled or thrown on floor by kids. I mentioned to staff to which nothing was done about it the whole time(over an hour)there which is a major health and safety issue. My icecream sundae turned up and that was it for about 15 minutes. I asked the staff for rest of order buy this time the majority of mine had melted. My partner had ordered a cup of tea.. after 35 minutes i was back up at the counter. I asked about it and the rest of the order. A few minutes later a cup of hot water with a tea bag arrived. Does it really take 40 minutes for that??? People that arrived after us were served way before us. It was as though we’d been forgotten even though i made myself known a few times. ‘We’re busy’ is all i had in return. Even though the visit prior to this was much better. The crepe my partner ordered was totally covered in a tonne of sugar which she had to scrape off. The crepe that my daughter ordered came after 55minutes and looked disgusting. She left most of it. Was supposed to be milk chocolate over it. It was covered in a thick dark chocolate with milk chocolate over that. No care in presentation and wasn’t what we ordered. It was horrible. There were a number of flies around our table which kept landing on food which really did not help. It’s as though we’ve gone into there looking to pick up on things. The strawberries dipped in chocolate were just thrown in a bowl with a load of chocolate dumped on top which we left most of.

I don’t like to complain one bit but we had an awful experience compared to the one previous. Having an ice cream nearly an hour before others was enough. It was run by youngsters with nobody seeming to care or in charge. Certainly not a treat before school recommencing!

Suggested solution:

They should either compensate me the £40 in full or a voucher to the same amount to go back and be given a better experience. My partner didn't come with us the first time and we raved about it. On our return we couldn't believe the difference.
